From my early days of singing movie tunes to writing heartfelt original music, my artistic career is a tale of change, fervor, and honesty. I'm Uttham, a singer-songwriter, storyteller, and the creator of Harmony Warangal, a music school founded with the goal of enabling everyone in my city to enjoy music. I discovered music early on, but I only fully accepted it when it became my means of digesting all aspects of life, including joy, love, loneliness, heartbreak, and purpose. It all started with my affinity for movies, particularly Prema Kavali. I became more than just a singer of the song Manasantha Mukkalu Chesi; it became a part of who I was. That nostalgic relationship drove me to busk and surprise the re-release crew after 13 years one of my happiest full-circle moments.My lyrics evolved along with my life. I wrote Penchaave—raw, vulnerable, and real—after a difficult breakup. I then wrote the song Parichayam, which is about fresh starts and connections that are similar to those of a river and the sea, after meeting the love of my life at Sagarasangamam. I met amazing independent musicians and felt like I was a part of a rising movement while performing my originals live at festivals, cafes, and venues like IMP Hyderabad. In addition, I founded bands like Harmony Warangal and Ragamalika, which brought regional music to a wider audience and created distinctive live experiences.I write stories in addition to songs as an artist. I make music out of my memories, my travels, the people I meet, and the feelings I experience. I put my reality into every phrase and melody, whether it's a reggae song about social issues like Patnam, a song about mothers like Pranam, or a song about my rural vacations like the one about Paderu. It's not just about me, though. I've also assisted in the launch of others, motivating kids daily at my academy and helping my soulmate friend release their first single, Thanuvantha Thaananta.
